What to know before you apply for Navy Agniveer
Like the Air Force's Agniveervayu form, the Navy wants a photo with a slate: hold a black slate at chest height with your name and the date of the photo on it in white chalk, in capital letters. Zoom out a little in the tool so the slate stays in the frame.
The file must be 10 to 50 KB, much smaller than the 100 to 200 KB Agniveervayu asks for, so resize again rather than reusing an Air Force photo file.
SSR and MR use the same photo rules. A live photo is also taken by webcam while you fill the form.

Why was my upload rejected even though the size was right?
Portals also check things a resizer can’t fix: a blurred or old photo, a face that is too small, caps or dark glasses, a coloured background, or a signature in capital letters. Retake the image if any of these apply.
